Finished Jewelry - Blue Fire Opal and Sapphire Pendant

This hand fabricated Argentium silver pendant features an intricate pierced and hand engraved floral design. Mark cut a fiery black Andamooka Gem Matrix opal with blue, violet and a hint of teal green as the focal gem for the piece. The opal is set in a 22k gold bezel and we used 14k gold granulation accents. The pendant was finished off with Mark's signature tension set sapphire bail design... this is the bail that was featured in the advanced metalworking section in our article in the September,2008 issue of Art Jewelry magazine.
Entire design was hand fabricated.
