This is our reversible spectrolite butterfly necklace. The first side is a simple sterling silver bezel setting with a hand fabricated bail. The second side has a pierced butterfly design that covers a portion of the spectrolite gem. The butterfly appears to be flying over a blazing sunset when the light hits the gem correctly. The butterfly is hand engraved and the border of the pendant has been textured. Mark has invented a very clever connector that allows the pendant to be reversed without removing the necklace:) He used a tube setting which holds a high quality 5.2mm color change sapphire. The sapphire gem changes between a bright cobalt blue and a rich deep, bright violet-purple.
