Fire Agate

Fire agate is among our favorite gems for both jewelry design, specimen collecting and lapidary arts. We have sought out the best rough and hand carved fire agate we could find for our jewelry. Due to the level of difficulty involved both in sourcing high quality rough and in hand carving fire agate, we have chosen to use gems cut and carved by other exceptional artists as well as fire agate gems cut in-house by Mark Anderson. Although we do occasionally sell gems to other artists, we reserve the best of our collection for our own one-of-a-kind and custom ordered fabricated and cast jewelry. We do offer most of the gems shown for custom jewelry design.
We were lucky enough to visit the Deer Creek mine in Arizona during our trip to the Tucson Gem Show in 2009. We brought back some exceptional rough fire agate! Some of the photos in this section are fire agate examples from our trip to Deer Creek.
