Agatized Dinosaur Bone is found exclusively on the Colorado Plateau in Utah. The actual cell structure within the fossilized bone has been replaced with quartz resulting in beautiful colors and patterns. Gem grade agatized dinosaur bone is one of our favorite materials to collect and use in jewelry and lapidary art creations.We have a very large collection of high quality material in a wide range of patterns and colors. Brown and Reddish colored bone is more common but you will find we have cut our cabochons from material displaying colors that are both rare and valuable within this amazing material. We have a wide selection of this material available upon request for custom cabochon cutting.
